| 1 | What is the inertia tuning? | |||
| 1) After turning on the power, push the Prog button followed by pushing the Enter button to go to the screen for the inertia tuning. | |
| 2 | How to use the inertia tuning function | |||
|
1) After turning on the power, push the Prog button followed by pushing the Enter button to go to the screen for the inertia tuning.
Once the screen is opened, the “tUnE” character set is flicking. 2) Once the screen is switched, push the pedal until a sound beeps. If you release the pedal before beeping, the inertia tuning is not completed. So, push it down till it sounds. - While tuning the inertia, the machine starts and stops 10 times by itself. - In case of Servomotor Series 2, it repeats 8 times. 3) If the inertia tuning is completed, the screen is switched to the default display with beeping. |

| 3 | What stands for FET in electronic parts? | |||
| FET is an acronym for Field Effect Transistor. It refers to any transistor that uses an applied voltage (the field) as its mechanism to turn on or off. A basic transistor has three terminals. A FET's three terminals are usually called 'source', 'drain' and 'gate'. a FET can be used as a switch simply by raising and lowering the gate voltage around its threshold value. FETs also operate as current amplifiers by increasing the gate voltage |
|
| 4 | what is a servo motor? | |||
| A Servo is a small device that has an output shaft. This shaft can be positioned to specific angular positions by sending the servo a coded signal. As long as the coded signal exists on the input line, the servo will maintain the angular position of the shaft. As the coded signal changes, the angular position of the shaft changes |
|
| 5 | Is there a relation between motor speed and frequency? |
|||
In case of servo motor speed, it doesn't change according to frequency. |
|
| 6 | what is a diode? | |||
| An electric component that conducts electric current in only one direction functioning as a one-way valve. Diodes typically are made from semiconductor materials such as silicon, germanium or selenium and are uses as voltage regulators, signal rectifiers, oscillators and signal modulators/demodulators. In computer equipment, diodes are commonly used to emit light by passing a current through it, as in light emitting diodes (LEDs). |
|
| 7 | what is function of bridge diode? | |||
| Bridge diode usually use to convert AC into DC at a power supply unit current. | |
| 8 | what is np motor? | |||
| It is non-contact clutch type motor. Np is an acronym for needle position, and np motor is able to control needle position. |
|
| 9 | What is a deffence between Fortuna 3 and Fortuna 4 ? | |||
| The Fortuna 3 is applied to the machine which uses Belt-type motor. And this is made up Belt-type motor and control box. The Fortuna 4 is applied to the machine which uses Direct-type motor. And this is made up Direct-type motor and control box.( The machine for Fortuna 4 - KM-2300) |
|
| 10 | How should we wet the Fortuna 3 in accordance with machine model ? | |||
| -The Fortuna 3 can be used all sewing machines, and be applied by parameter setting The parameter is B-group 56, operator should set to value in accordance with machine model |
|
| 11 | What is a deffence between Program Rom and Extension Rom ? | |||
| The Program Rom is written serveral programs to work a sewing machine ( machine control, parameter control and operating program) The Extension Rom is saved designe patten without special programs.When operator transfers extension design , the design data is saved in Extension ROM If operator doesn't transfer extension design, the Extension Rom has nothing . ( Standard : 1201 -> 1~32, 1202 -> 1~33, 1254 -> 1~56) For your reference, the basic pattern design is not saved in Extension Rom. It is saved in Program Rom. |

| 18 | What does solenoid 'FULL ON TIME' and 'DUTY RATE' mean? | |||
| -A solenoid could be overheated if input voltage of solenoid is supplied continuously while operating a solenoid. Therefore, when someone is trying to operate a solenoid, it would be much better that someone supplies the input voltage at the starting point of operating, then supplying the minimum amount of the voltage which can afford to operate a solenoid. When Input voltage suplies steadly after starting point is called FULL ON TIME. After that, the appropriate amount of the decreased supplied volt is called DUTY RATE. For example, that FULL ON TIME in a servo motor is 100ms and DUTY RATE is 20% means a solenoid is supplied with 40V during the point when the solenoid is starting to operate to 100ms then, 20% of 40V, the solenoid is supplied with 8V. If you increase FULL ON TIME and DUTY RATE in a solenoid, the power of the solenoid will be increase. However, if solenoid is overheated, so you decrease the FULL ON TIME and DUTY, the power of the solenoid will be decrease. Therefore, you should set the appropriate FULL ON TIME and DUTY RATE level. |
