When a Jump occurs during sewing.


  Cause : A pattern design is distorted when there is a Jump in the X or Y direction during sewing.
Type : SPS/A(B)-1306, SPS/A(B)-1811, SPS/A(B)-2516, SPS/A(B)-5030
 

Solution : Execute the Jump Test (Operate the machine in the following order.)



 


Press the MODE button in the B area.
 
“Main Menu” is displayed in the A area.
 
Press the button 2 in the C area.
         
“Test Menu” is displayed in the A area.
 
Press the ENTER button in the C area.
 
Make sure the cursor indicates “4.Machine Test” in the A area.
         
“jmp_dx”, indicating the distance in the X direction, is displayed in the A area.
 
Make sure the cursor indicates “15.Jump Test” in the A area.
 
Press the ENTER button in the C area.
         
“jmp_dx”, indicating the distance in the X direction, is displayed in the A area.
 
“Delay”, indicating the working hours, is displayed in the A area.
 
Press the ENTER button in the C area.
         
Press the ENTER button in the C area.
 
“jmp_dy”, indicating the distance in the Y direction, is displayed in the A area.
 
Press the ENTER button in the C area.
         
   
Pressing the ESC button in the D area ends the test and leads to the initial display of the test.
 
As FF is fed in the X and Y direction, “Dir:F” is displayed in the A area.


※ If the test is not conducted in a normal way, the reason can be a problem in the I/O Board, CPU Card , Step Motor, XY Board. Refer to an A/S engineer for check.
